Reference: D.1.2

LEME Mitigation

Electricity savings through low energy consumption strategies with LED (lamps) and connected monitoring devices to adapt the lightling power in real time for the best service

Smart cities with new lighting implementation strategy and in urban renewal programmes (on selected sites)

At least 60% electricity savings (reference: existing street lighting systems)

LED lamps (see above) Supervision: advanced monitoring design with references in other countries

Estimated pay back time short term : 2-4 years, medium term: 4-6 years, long term : 6-8 years (*)

Medium term

Upgrading urban lighting systems could be launched in specific conditions: new urban developments such as smart cities with a significant number of lighting systems involved or urban renewal programmes. Pilot projects could be implemented on a few projects as part of a global sustainable approach (sustainable city of the future).
