The NPCC is organizing the third edition of the National Productivity and Quality Convention 2020/21 for enterprises to showcase productivity, quality, innovation initiatives. The theme this year is “Pursuing Productivity and quality amidst COVID-19.” The negative impact of COVID-19 is felt worldwide but the pandemic has also been an opportunity for many organisations to review their competences and operations, to innovate and to be more digital. The NPQC encourages organisations to share their best operational practices, processes, systems, and initiatives and learn from the experience of others. It provides an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of teams that have been responsible for creating and/or managing productivity and quality improvements at their workplace.
Kindly note that companies can register a maximum of 2 projects online (deadline to register is 26th February). They will then be contacted by the NPCC for a short training to fit the project as per the NPQC criteria 20/21 during the first week of March. On line Assessments by local jurors (15 minutes presentations with 5 minutes Q &A) will be conducted first week of May. All Gold awardees will present their projects to an international panel on 19th-20th May and the Award Ceremony is scheduled for 28th May 2021. The Grand Winners will have the opportunity to participate at the International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) in Hyderabad, India (If the situation allows) in September 2021 together with delegates from renowned companies from 13 Asian countries.
