In 2003, the United Nations General Assembly designated 09 December as the International Anti-Corruption Day (IACD). It aims at raising people’s awareness on corruption and the role of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) in combating and preventing the scourge. That day provides an opportunity for Governments, the private sector, non-governmental organizations, the media and citizens around the world to join forces to fight corruption. Mauritius is a State party to the UNCAC.
In this context, kindly find below the message from the Director-General of the ICAC, Dr Navin Beekarry.
