Call for local manufacturing of Covid-related medical supply

EU is financing 2 programmes with the SADC, i.e. the SIPS and SIBE programmes. For both programmes Mauritian Companies are eligible.

The service tender was relaunched  and we are hopeful that the contracts will be signed by end of September and activities which can be implemented remotely will start.

Regarding the SIPS programme, we have worked to redirect some of the funds to the response to COVID (see infographics and concept note attached).
